Wake up on the right side of the bed with coffee from 71 Irving

Tucked away on the first floor of a quaint Gramercy townhouse is one of the best coffee shops in NYC: 71 Irving. They serve delicious brew from Irving Farms in addition to tasty treats like muffins, bagels, sandwiches, and more (their tuna sandwich on whole grain bread is a must try!). They have about 20 seats inside and a few seats outside.

Where can you find good beer?

Good Beer specializes in draft and bottled craft beers from independent, micro, and nano brewers across the country, as well as a select few European brews. You can get a pint ($6) or tasting flight (four 4.5 oz pours, $8)  in-house, as well as some tasty organic, local, or heritage cheeses, kielbasas, and hotdogs.

Vegan's Won't Like This...

...But we think it sounds pretty damn good: Maine lobsta plus velvety melted gruyere cheese on two toasted slices of organic white bread. Top it off with a squash soup and wash it down with Shipwreck Ale and you'll have a fine, fine lunch.
