Moss Wellness
Bummed because last year’s bathing suit doesn’t fit anymore? See Andrea Moss, a Certified Health and Nutrition Counselor who believes in bio-individuality: that each person has his or her dietary needs. No crash diets here! For the next month, she’s offering a free, 45-minute initial session with a mention of P&S. Here’s how>>
To set up an appointment, call Andrea at (917) 450-4642 or e-mail andrea@mosswellness.com.
Moss is not a believer in diets per se. But she is serious about what she puts into her mouth and thinks you should be too. She subscribes to the idea of bio-individuality, which means that each person has her or his own food and lifestyle needs. “When the experts say, ‘dairy is good for you’ or ‘fat is unhealthy,’ it doesn’t apply to everyone,” she explains. “One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you in making positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background. Instead of prescribing one fix for all people, I use a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs.”
Could it be any better? Moss offers her twice-monthly sessions in three-month programs and six-month programs. You can expect a thorough questionnaire about what you’re eating now and what your goals for the future are. Then she’ll tailor a plan just for you that includes recommendations about specific foods, supplements, books, strategies and more.
