Local Love in Fort Greene

With all the local talent, it’s about time Fort Greene got its own holiday market. Yup, this year is the 1^st Annual Fort Greene Holiday Market, taking place on Saturday, December 1^st from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Arts & Letters Building. The market will feature the handmade gifts from the best Fort Greene has to offer. Dad likes to cook? Get him an artichoke-patterned apron from Foxy & Winston (pictured), or some Kings County beef jerky. Mom, sister, girlfriend? Check: they will all be thrilled to get one of Sticks and Stones’ necklaces. Entertainment will also include discounted holiday portraits by A&L Photo Studio, a candle making tent, cartoon and movie screenings, and live music by DJ Big Brooklyn and A&L All Star Band.
